Thank God

It seems fitting that I’m entitling a post “Thank God” on Easter Sunday. As Jerry Remy said, a perfect opening night.

Regardless of the Red Sox win, what a great game. All of the Red Sox newcomers pitched it, despite a poor start from Josh Beckett, and Dustin Pedroia killed it. Derek Jeter looked more black (does he tan?), Jonathon Papelbon looked thin, and Peter Gammons looked a bit old and senile.

I’m going to game two of the series. Stay tuned for that post. That’s right, this site is legit, I actually report on games that I saw in person. Once in a while at best.

Most of all, Thank God Baseball is back.
