The Celtics certainly sent a message tonight, romping the Miami Heat 106-77 — a true display of how they felt as a team about Kevin Garnett’s suspension following possibly the weakest elbow ever to warrant a suspension. I think they should win this series easily, but I don’t think they have much of a shot at the title this year. I put their odds at 10% or so. As much as I hate to say it, I don’t see anyone (Lebron included) beating the Lakers.
A couple of awesome stats from the game — Ray Allen made five 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter — his stroke is so fine. And the Celtics went on a 44-8 run at one point — that’s enough to show me that they will at least move on from this series with relative ease.
