Paul Pierce Joins the 20,000 Point Club

Paul Pierce

Paul Pierce scored his 20,000th career point last night, a free throw that sealed an overtime win for the Celtics over Milwaukee. Pierce ended the game with 28 points, joining Larry Bird and John Havlicek as the only career Celtics in the 20,000 point club. Congratulations Paul, it’s been an absolute pleasure watching you over the years. Take a look at the list below — all of the members of the 20,000 point club. It’s pretty damn good company.

is the * hall of fame?

  2. 'Cos

How can you possibly not include Reggie Miller as an automatic for the hall of fame? Pay the man the credence and reverence that he deserves, G!

    • Dear Mr. ‘Kos,
The asterisks are next to players currently in the Hall of Fame, not players that I think will end up there. Reggie deserves to be in there, despite that fact that he’s a tool and a much less cool Ray Allen.

Well Reggie has made 105 more three’s the Jesus so I guess you didn’t see a couple of Reggie’s.

  3. Kevin Youkillis

Where on the list is Pat Calathes?

can not be stopped by anything but the rim, which happens very often
