Shawn Kemp’s Top 10 Dunks

The top 10 dunks of Shawn Kemp’s career — there’s not much more to say about this as the video speaks for itself.  I think you’d be hard-pressed to find any other player with a better top ten list of dunks. This boy could leap. Oh, and he was 6’10 and came out of community college.

I’d suggest watching the video with sound. Pay special attention to Kemp’s pointing after the #1 dunk. Thank you to Mr. Patrick Klimm for passing this along.

also of note the announcer on the number 7 dunk “hes all over that rebound like a cheap suit”…and the dunk on gatling where he just shakes kemps hand after he got postered

he traveled in 9 and carried in 4, im calling the commissioner.

In the # 1 clip you also see Kemp pointing and making fun of the defender that he had just owned. You also don’t see that kind of awesomeness anymore either, given that commissioners in sports are a bunch of pussies.

some monstrous dunks in there for sure. the only highlight reels i would think to put up against that are vince carter, and of course his airness, MJ. you also gotta love the alli-oop from gary payton, aka the glove, another great nickname considering he was a basketball player and had a baseball player nickname because he had so many steals. I used to have that retro Kemp jersey in my room as a kid.
